Online music sharing and download service, iLike, that was formerly the number one music application on Facebook, closed on February 7 and now redirects to Myspace.
iLike launched in 2009 and peaked with 60 million registered users, content from 300,000 artists and a reported previous average of 150,000 visitors per day.
It was acquired by MySpace soon after its launch and following its closure, the website redirect banner reads: ‘the iLike website is no longer available. We welcome you to Myspace, home of the largest catalog of FREE streaming music on the web!”.
