Hladno pivo (trans. “Cold beer”) is a Croatian punk rock band, one of most popular rock bands in Croatia. They formed in Zagreb, Croatia, and initially consisted of four members: Zok, Tedi, Suba, Mile. The band started playing under the influence of bands like the Ramones, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, Motörhead, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Metallica, Zabranjeno pušenje, Električni orgazam, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Azra.

In 1987, Stipe joined the band. On May 21, 1988 the band held their first concert in Kumrovec. In 1988, the band has also held an unsuccessful concert at lake Jarun in Zagreb, due to the drummer of the band which played before them refusing to leave the drums for Hladno Pivo.

In 1989 Stipe left the band. This year was also important because Zok, Tedi, Suba and Mile recorded their first demo. The demo consisted of six songs and was recorded at Jozo in Trešnjevka, Zagreb. One week later, Mile and Zok were sent to do their military service. When they returned from military service in 1990 they started playing again. The result were the songs: “Princeza”, “Heroin”, “Dobro veče”, “Trening za umiranje”, “Buba švabe”, “Zakaj se tak’ oblačiš”, “Pjevajte nešto ljubavno”, recorded at Denis (a.k.a. Denyken) in Sopot, Zagreb. These songs, along with modified “Marginalci” were published as a cassette in production of Megatherium rec.

After the much radio airplay for the song “Pravo ja”, Hladno Pivo recorded a video for the trck, taken from their current album, “Svijet glamura” (“The world of glamor”) to show that their fans still sing with the same zeal. The song was inspired by column-name Ante Tomića „Pravo ja – ključ u ruke”.

“Pravo ja”, the “real me”, who I am in fact .. there better questions at the present time, who I am (is, are, we are), I, he, she, it, we are the ones … have you been an integral citizen of this country or a rotten cunt who works in moonlighting and not reporting separately, or did you happen to be a brave unionist… No importance that there is no sense of reality .. Whether you are a brave person who is dealing face to face with the problems of today or a little shit on the forums stealthily lurking and bitch about everything and hates all …. or God forbid you use various supplements for hair growth rather than to admit that you’re bald if you’re not sure … listen to “Pravo ja”, perhaps removing hairbands … ”

U oglasu je velikim slovima
pisalo otkrijte svoje pravo ja
otkrijte koliko sebe znate,

upozno tog gospodina
pa da s kolegom super egom
budem jin i jang u jednom tijelu

on je miran bistrouman,
balansiran ko nova guma
ima stan u centru zdravu jetru i još 101 kvalitetu
častimo se sladoledom i on voli stracciatellu

i krenuh ja do telefona
naručit pravo ja za doma
čuh “halo” i ostah smeten,
a što ako je on kreten?

parazit
bez ideja,
umjetnik,
član HDZa

po cijeli dan na plejki
puši travu

voli reiki i zdravu hranu
što ako pravo ja odnosno on
bude veliki fan Celine Dione?

dila herba life
il ne daj bože nosi rajf

što ako nosi rajf?

čuo sam “halo, halo”
i rekoh joj
oprostite pogrešan broj

Carmine Scrocco (Brigante Parte III)

Dove so’ le mie mutande?
Non ho più le mie mutande!
E so’ brigante!
Ohhhhh…!!!

Forse gliele ho date al petroliere,
era simpatico però!
Mi ha regalato un pallone
e li ho dato tanta, tanta acqua!

Mi hanno chiesto un giardino
per seppellire
radioattività!
Radioattività!

C’è quello del mio vicino
tanto non mi ammalerò
proprio io ?!?
No-no-no-no-no-no!

Musica!
(Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!)

Dove so’ le mie mutande?
Non ho più le mie mutande!
E so’ brigante!
Ohhhhh…!!!

Forse gliele ho date al politico,
era simpatico però!
Mi ha regalato la maglietta di Messi,
E li ho dato tanta, tanta terra!

Mi hanno costruito il palazzetto
dello sport!
Dello sport!
Dello sport!

Posso andarci quando voglio
tanto è rimasto…
a metà!
Ahahahahahahah!

Bio :

Gloria Victis is a progressive metal/hardcore band from Sherbrooke, Canada. Created in late 2011, the band immediately recorded a five song EP at the Red Dusk Studio. The band released its first EP and a videoclip of the song «Standing Tall» during spring 2012. Known for its professional sound, the eponym album rapidly held the attention.

Afterwards, the band started its first release CD tour across Quebec, Canada with Obliterate. This experience gave the members the motivation to carry on their dream, and this is to share their music with the greatest number of people possible. That is the reason why they took off a little break after their tour, in order to write a new album, which is going to be a LP. With that album, the band aim to have a much sought-after sound that will define them much more.

For Gloria Victis, music is more than a hobby: it is a passion, a dream, a life project. Despite the hard times of the modern hardcore scene, the band believes in its chances and is more determined each day to get closer to its dream.

Created in 2006 by Christophe Baudrion (bass player) and Franck Amendola (guitarist) then followed in 2010 by Sébastien Pietrapiana (singer) and Eric Chabaud (drummer), Press Gang Metropol finds its inspiration in 80’s new wave (Joy Division, New Order, The Cure, The Sound, Depeche Mode…), and more recent rock/cold wave bands (Interpol, Editors, Nine Inch Nails…).

In the 90’s, Sébastien, Christophe and Franck were part of Corpus Delicti, gothic band with an international fame, played all over the world, from Europe to America, sold thousands of records, and established a huge reputation with an echo even stronger today.

In fact, the band became cult after its break up in 1996, thousands of fans following audio and video documents on the web, sharing their passion of these four french musicians.
This interest led to the reissue of the 3 Corpus Delicti albums on the label M Tronic, and the release in October of a french official biography by the famous editor Camion Blanc.

Before playing together again, all band members have tested different music landscapes: Sébastien revealed himself in his solo project Kuta (3 albums), playing with Mike Garson, David Bowie’s pianist: Franck created Curl (3 albums), John Callender, Cranes drummer taking part in the band: Christophe created Kom-Intern (5 albums), signed on the famous german label Hands.

Today, Press Gang Metropol has released its first album “Checkpoint”. This LP, mixing energy and melody, is deliberately turned on a rock new wave, modern and original.

{tab=Fr}
