Bio
The Moscow band ‘69FM – The Radio of Total Trust’ has a history of just a brief while and doesn’t bother about its stylistic identity. This year the guys released their first CD, which allocate this review, among others:
“Flores?’ release is a universal nutrition for any musical dietetics, whose exclusivity is based on its specific atmosphere; moreover, the album contains a very rare phenomenon for the modern structure of tracks, with a verse-chorus and a couple of passes among the 10 tracks as a bonus. While listening to the 69FM latest album you start to visualize certain images: the composition literally leads you down the Cuban noisy streets of Havana, then moves you into the Friday in Haifa or the rainy Monday in a port of Marseilles. You can write more and more, but it’s better just to listen. Try not to draw conclusions after each track, but perceive an overall experience. It’s like a dinner at a luxury restaurant in contrast with a homemade feast – you cannot leave without a dessert!”
The band itself characterizes its creations in a certain way: “A new release by the rootless cosmopolitans, sensei of all styles and genres, neophytes in the eternity and life-long passionaries. While listening to this music Tsar Ivan the Terrible was cleaning the fish and cut his finger. The moral is so that this music is for the kindhearted! Thank you!”

SoundCloud Has 10 Million Registered Users
SoundCloud announced today that it has reached 10 million registered users, a press release said. Since January 2011, the company has earned seven million users.
To celebrate the milestone, SoundCloud co-founders Alexander Ljung and Eric Wahlforss launched a new feature today called “Story Wheel,” which “allows anyone to record their own narrative around a series of images to tell a personal story.”
The service provider launched in October 2008, and 5 million apps have been launched since its inception.
“When Eric (Wahlforss) and I started SoundCloud, we had the vision of enabling people to create and share sound more easily and collaboratively,” Ljung said in a statement. “Today 10 million people are recognizing that vision and it makes us extremely proud and encouraged that people are supporting our mission to unmute the web.”

SoundCloud recieves $50m fresh funding
SoundCloud has raised an significant amount of cash via a fundraising round led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, in which GGV Capital also participated.
The social sound platform said in a statement that the investment would allow it to “continue to expand more rapidly”.
Although the firm commented that the amount of capital raised remained ‘undisclosed’, Techcrunch puts the figure at $50m – giving the music company a total valuation in excess of $200m.
“SoundCloud has seen exponential growth this year in terms of users and greatly evolved our product offerings,” said founder & CEO Alexander Ljung. “With Kleiner Perkins’ impeccable track record for recognizing and investing in companies with a long-term view, and their understanding and support for the potential of sound, we couldn’t be more excited about working together.”
Mary Meeker, partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, will take a board observer seat at SoundCloud. Meeker serves on the board of Square and is actively involved in KPCB’s investments in in Groupon, Legalzoom, Waze, 360buy.com, Spotify, Jawbone, One King’s Lane and Trendyol.
Ljung said: “Mary Meeker showed very clearly in her recent State of the Internet 2011 presentation that sound is the next frontier on the Web. That vision, along with spotlighting mobile and international markets, made it clear that Kleiner Perkins aligns with SoundCloud’s mission.”
Previous SoundCloud funding has come from B-Round investors Union Square Ventures and Index Ventures, and A-Round investor Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures.
