Manni Dee, “Oligarch Orgy”, track taken from the “Behaviour Cycles” EP, available now on Earwiggle Records [EAR012].
https://earwiggle.bandcamp.com/album/manni-dee-behaviour-cycles
One of the most talented producers to have emerged from the UK techno scene in recent years, Manni’s regular installments of sonic pressure have appeared on labels such as Perc Trax, Black Sun Records, Osiris Music, Candela Rising and Leyla.
On “Behaviour Cycles”, he kicks off intensely with the shuffling acid pump of ‘Repeating Rituals’, that nestles against the surging beats and hyperbleeps of ‘Oligarch Orgy’ on the a-side. Turn it over where the soaring atmosphere of ‘Challenge & Resist’ displays Manni’s penchant for the dramatic, while ‘Fear Is The Mother of Man’ sees broken rhythms ricochet off dark unknown forces, to deadly effect.
Video by the29nov Films :
the29nov films are Kevin Paschold and Sebastian Kökow. They grew up both in a small town called Sonneberg which is famous for toy making. The town lies within in one of the most beautiful landscapes of Germany – Thuringia, but not much to do for young guys.
So they started a project called “the29nov” – organising events and playing music. Later the two school mates moved to the creative melting point Berlin to start making videos for techno tracks.
They became the very well-known duo “the29nov films” which is nowadays respected in the techno scene – from fans, artists and label owners. Besides creating videos Sebastian Kökow also tours as DJ spinning fine techno.
